KUMANO: Thinking outside the box

KUMANO is the epitome of the trendy Japandi style. Japandi is a coined term that refers to a design mix of Japan and Scandinavia. In both countries, simple, natural elements are the focus. The dominant colours are homely, nature-inspired tones. KUMANO embraces all of this and brings clarity to the home, allowing it to breathe. The special feature: All designs interconnect and can be cross-combined based on the colour schemes.

Highlights of Kumano

Three-Dimensional Leaf Look

Artistically designed leaves without a visible background form a solid surface. Two variants with metallic effect: brass with a greenish sheen and silver with black patina.

Japanese mist veils

Softly glossy arcs on a coarsely textured background that resembles rustic linen. A matching uni complements the look.

Embroidered Cranes

Cranes appear as if embroidered, contrasting with the rough, textile background.

Faux-Uni with Japanese technique.

Inspired by ancient fabric folding art, available in six metallic shiny colors.

Features:

All wallpapers in the KUMANO collection are hot-embossed. Temperatures of 200 to 220 degrees Celsius prevail in the so-called gelling channel, where the colours are heated.

A water-cooled steel roller is then used to incorporate the fine structures. No other printing method allows for such precise lines and patterns to be depicted. Wallpapers produced this way are also incredibly durable.
