Eclectic: Thinking outside the box

When you rethink the existing, great things can emerge. This is proven by chief designer Felix Diener with his collection Eclectic, for which he deliberately thought outside the box. Drawing from marburg’s extensive material and technical expertise, something completely new was created: wallpapers that combine appearance, texture, structure, and light refraction like a creative kit to create something greater than the sum of its parts. A fascinating shift in perspective for the space.

Innovative Designs:

"Good design is simple when you understand why it can sometimes be so difficult," sums up Felix Diener the balance between overflowing creativity and its implementation into a practical product.

Luxury Techniques:

Felix Diener believes: "The greatest luxury is time to experiment." Equally luxurious are the results of his experiments, carried out with great sensitivity and vast knowledge – wallpapers like you've never seen before.

Unique Surfaces:

Like liquid light, the glass beads appear, with glitter particles embedded in their fixation.

Versatile Plain Variants:

A moiré pattern displays the typical water wave texture usually found on pure silk. The wallpaper also gives the impression of this luxurious fabric.

Main Designs of the Collection

With great depth and texture, a solid all-over design with a granulate surface fascinates. Its particles, resembling tiny quartz splinters, are applied with high precision and uniformity to the wallpaper, allowing for a seamless wall design. The surface, with its fine metallic coating, provides an impressive visual depth.

Organically shaped pentagons, mysteriously varying in tone, leave room for interpretation: while some may see the shimmering scale structure of reptile skin, others may perceive it as a surface adorned with gemstones – pentagons that spark the imagination.

Three plain designs create a sense of calm and can be combined in various ways.

The same design is also available in a variant that changes in multiple tones depending on the light and viewpoint – either from blue to turquoise to violet, or – as a finely nuanced counterpart to the hammer stroke pattern – from jade green to copper red.

The third in the collection is a textile plain, whose rather matte surface features an effect thread with a fine metallic shimmer, appearing as though it has been woven in.

A highlight of the collection is the three captivating wall murals, which resemble works of art on the wall. An enchanting forest, in a colour palette of beige, grey, and wool white, draws the viewer into a quiet and mysterious world.
